Andy Bailey and MS

Andy BaileyMarch 6, 2013, Andy Bailey, told the world  that he had been diagnosed with MS on December 8th 2012.

Andy reveled this NEWS FLASH as only the famous professional-blogger, the creator of CommentLuv Premium could, easy to read, creative, practically silly:

“I have been putting this post off for a couple of months

commentluv premiumI don’t want you to get scared!

it’s not HUGE but it is BIG news, the not-so-great kind

not-so-great for me that is.

but, you? well, you should be fine!
(disclaimer: if you were fine already)

and there is a way through this, it’ll just take some readjustment.”

As Andy shared his diagnoses, with the humor of “in case you didn’t know, (MS is) an incurable disease that means I grow 2 heads…  There’s drugs, support, help and all sorts of nice things available to me to keep me coding… (and I wont get 2 heads)

“it’s actually a condition that is caused (among other things) when white cells attack! (great title for a TV series right?)”

In the process of sharing his story with humor and a positive attitude he comforts all of us with his words of encouragement.

Right after his diagnosis Andy started a video Channel on YouTube and a Facbook page.

We hear him describe himself on one of his movies of being too MS-ified or talk of Muggles, (people without MS).

Andy discourages us from referring to MS as Mister Shitty or Mostly Spastic or MonSter but instead, use the opposite with positive affirmations, “I’m great” or “I can get through this”. Referring to MS as Mister Shitty, Andy says, is so negative that it might dishearten our whole being.

Andy decided instead to be a ‘Magical Sorcerer’, or ‘Magical Sorceress’ (depending if you have boobies or not) in order to keep the power and remain positive.

Focusing on how he can help the MS community, Andy will be hosting a webinar TODAY July 10, 2013 to help us get over the fear of the injections that many of the disease modifying drugs require.  Leave it to Andy to entitle this webinar: “The Great Impalement” where we’ll witness a Rebiff injection administered by Aileen for her MS.

Many of us living with Multiple Sclerosis are bloggers and Andy Bailey with his creation of CommentLuv Premium is well known.  Andy continues to inspire and entertain us.
