Dawn Keegan Silverstein – How Living With MS Became a Catalyst for a Healthier Life

At the end of June 2002, Dawn Keegan Silverstein woke up numb from the waist down. Her left arm was a little droopy. Within two days, Dawn had lost the use of her left arm completely and was dragging her feet like she was walking through quicksand. Within three weeks she was diagnosed with MS.

After a few months of struggling with the disease, Dawn decided to take control of her life and become pro-active in her health. Her first step was to get a personal trainer.

With his help, she got stronger, lost 60 pounds, and her balance became rock solid. While watching her own health improve, Dawn developed an interest in nutrition and how food can affect our health. She became certified as a Nutrition & Wellness Consultant, an Intrinsic Coach, and a Holistic Health Coach. Her Education as well as her personal experience gives Dawn an amazing insight and ability to help her clients reach their lifestyle and wellness goals by being a powerful, supportive, and action-oriented ally.
