Repair MS Dec 2011 Update ~ Reflexology

What is Reflexology?

Reflexology has been called a holistic healing art and science. Wayne Nelson of RedmondReflexology has re-introduced me to reflexology.

Wayne explains reflexology on his site in detail. Here is a brief description, “Reflexology, when performed by a trained reflexologist, who skillfully applies a sequence of learned thumb and finger-pressure techniques to reflexes found on the feet, hands and outer ears, provides a discernible response within the body.

This response is the body “becoming aware” of the message it receives from the nervous system as the feet, hands and outer ears are being addressed during a reflexology treatment. These reflexes connect, through our nervous system, to all systems, organs and physical aspects of our body. This usually results in deep relaxation or even sleep.”

You all know that I’m a Christian to the core but eternal truth is eternal truth. Reflexology is energy work, truth wrapped in a different package than my church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is accustomed to.

I started doing “Walking updates” years ago and as you know I’ve always believed the body was created to heal itself. I’ve never understood why, when I was doing everything ‘right’ I still wasn’t getting better. My girlfriend, Shanae Branham suggested that even though I’m doing everything right, I might not be doing it Long Enough!

Maybe it’s true~ I can’t wait to see!

I have created an eBook called Emotional Clearing to share with you what I have learned and lived up until this point. You can get a copy of Emotional Clearing right here. Following the steps of Emotional Clearing prepared me for what is to come.

I’m starting to work with Wayne and see if reflexology will help me undo the damage that was done and walk without a walker! I mean, we only use 10% of our brain, and I learned to walk once, I’ve got 90% of my brain to learn again!

  1. I am staunch believer in holistic Treatment and have had it on several occasions. I enjoyed this post and the opportunity to revisit the reflexology foot chart outlining the various pressure points and the various parts of the body which the affect.

  3. There is only one thing that I would like to know. Can reflexology really help improve the damage parts of the body that Multiple Sclerosis caused?

    • That, Candice, is what I’m going to see! I’ll be sharing my progress as I work with Wayne. It is VERY EXCITING!!! Just like I said, I believe that if the disease would stop I can relearn what I lost, my Dec 2011 MRI shows that I’m still in remission, that’s 3 years! Now it’s time to give it a try! I will definitely keep you posted!
