Novantrone and MS

MSrelief logo - wChooseJoy - 1280x720(1)Times have changed. When my neurologist prescribed Novantrone in 2003, he said I could only receive it for one year. So I was given the Novantrone infusion four times. At that time I was still having regular exacerbations. I was walking slowly with a cane. I didn’t notice a great improvement after the Novantrone.

Looking back at this past 15 years, I have no clue what helped me continue to be able to walk at least with a walker, drive and get my walker out of the trunk of the car. I’m grateful for my independence. I’m even more grateful for the people in my life who take care of me, doing for me what I no longer can.

Tell me about your experience, what are you grateful for?

  1. I am glad that novantrone can really help improve the health condition of an person suffering from Multiple Sclerosis. However, I’m a little uncomfortable about its adverse health effects.
