Shawn Achor – “The Happiness Advantage: Linking Positive Brains to Performance”

Shawn Achor ~ I am so excited about the National MS Society’s Everyday Matters project!  Join in for the insight and education we will gain from this event!  Watch Shawn Achor’s video here and see what we have to look forward to in the Everyday Matters Project!

After you watch him in action, you’ll want to order his book and you can get it right here: The Happiness Advantage: The Seven Principles of Positive Psychology That Fuel Success and Performance at Work

I can’t wait to follow this Everyday Matters project based around Shawn Achor’s application of positive psychology in his book, The Happiness Advantage. Shawn is teaching the “Positive Psychology” that Trish and I fully believe in!

In 2007, Shawn founded Good Think Inc. to share his research with a wider population. We want to follow in his footsteps and share with the MS community the fact that Joy can be found even in the midst of life with Multiple Sclerosis!

Tell me how you feel after watching Shawn in action through the video above!

  1. Shawn is a real inspiration for us. He has made a bright impact towards the MS sufferers. Salute to him.

    • Brooke,
So you’ve seen Shawn before now? This is the first time that I have ever seen him on Youtube or heard about his book! He is such an entertaining speaker and his message is my message! I am so looking forward to learning from him!

  2. I always used to read post in news papers but now as I am a user of web so from now I am using net for articles or reviews, thanks to web.

    • Corina~
I’m so much like you! Only for me it was books and now it’s the internet! There is so much information here in cyber space! It’s a joke in my family… Google knows everything!

  3. Positive thinking has been proven to work in so many areas of life that anything that can really help you apply it is well worth investing the time to learn in my eyes.

Take a look at everything from cancers sufferers to reformed alcoholics, the success rate is always higher in the the people who have a positive outlook.

  4. I had picked ‘The Happiness Advantage’ out of the stack and I was pleasantly surprised! It was a practical and research based book. Before reading this one I had never really read a positive psychology book, I was more of fiction person. This book was inspiring as it shows you how to make the right choices in life!

If you love some one dearly this book could be an ideal gift!

Thank you for posting the video, I am fan of Shawn Anchors now!

    • Lynn,
I appreciate you saying so! I couldn’t agree more, positive psychology in print is a rare commodity! I can’t wait to read your last post, I’ll see you there!!
