Stephanie Tinney Shares MS Tips

Stephanie Tinney is a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of Alaska. She has been an OT for just over 20 years and was diagnosed with relapsing remitting MS 12 years ago. Stephanie is a wife and mother of a 4 yr old boy.

Stephanie’s work has spanned the west coast. She originally hails from Southern California.

She is currently on the Alaska Leadership Board of the National MS Society for which she is the liaison for the Walk MS events in the state.

Being the facilitator for the Mat Su Valley MS Support group for the last two years has her in the unusual position of being both a clinician and a person living with MS. As we know, symptoms can be vastly different person to person as well as time to time within the same person.

Stephanie has learned tips and tricks about living life with MS and a great one is using resources such as the The Fly Lady when planning our domestic responsibilities.

Stephanie’s mantra is Strive to Thrive Not Just Survive.

We are very happy to hear some of what Stephanie’s has learned living life with MS! Thank you Stephanie!
