I had bit of a rough week, just in terms of my schedule being all over the place. When life is like that I often have trouble focusing on my priorities because I go into “fire fighter” mode. I end up getting distracted by things that seem to require my attention more urgently than my highest priorities.
My desk is often a mess when I’m in that mode and the proof of my current state is reflected the growing pile of disorganized paperwork at my left elbow. 🙁
Thankfully I schedule time off work on Tuesdays so I’m looking forward to getting organized then. The good news I have this week is that when I weighed in on Saturday, the scale said 252.2! Wow, did that take me by surprise! So I lost another 4 lbs this week! Yeah!
Seems like I’m actually losing my taste for meat these past few months. I’ve been eating a lot of yogurt, cottage cheese, oatmeal & other high fibre cereals. Then of course I put a scoop of protein powder in almost everything I eat. I feel like the protein is keeping me satisfied and my energy stable. I’m sure Dawn will be able to tell me if that’s really the case.
