I’m happy to report that I started craving healthy foods this week. Yeah! But wait, that means I have to venture into the kitchen for more than a quick stop at the fridge or cupboard… OK, we’re going to take this one baby step at a time… Don’t want to go into some kind of “culinary shock”! LOL!
Dawn talks about “assembling” meals as opposed to “cooking” meals and I definitely like the sound of that! Hence, I ordered the NutriBullet that she recommended. I’m looking forward to getting it and doing some experimenting. I’ll let you know how I make out when it comes in.
As for my walking, I managed to make it as far as the local park in my neighbourhood this week. And I loved it! In the past, before the weight loss, walking for exercise was just not an option because of the neuropathic pain that would flare up from my ankles to the top of my head and take hours to go away. But now, with being 40+lbs lighter than I was last summer, walking for exercise is no longer causing the MS symptoms to flare up! Another Yeah!
And I’m going to have to bring my flip vid camera on one of my walks soon so I can show you the awesome scenic walking trails that I discovered right in my own neighborhood! Unbelievable, they’ve been there all these years and I had no clue!
So, please take a moment and share with me in the comments below what types of exercise work for you. Everyone’s different so I look forward to hearing what works for some and not for others. Do do you inject some exercise into your life with MS?
